Whenever you have a couple of apps that are extremely similar, it will make sense to share the code between the two. For example, a Lite version and a Paid version of the same app, or the same app skinned differently for different clients. At first you might be tempted in duplicating the project. Don’t. If the code splits then it’s going to be a nightmare copying changes between two places, or even just having them in two separate projects.

Free wifi is everywhere. It may seem like a godsend if you stumble upon a free wifi network, but watch out. A wifi network can be easily created just to steal your information.

I’m going to show just how easy it is to setup a fake free wifi network to monitor all network traffic going through it. To do this you will need two network cards, one will connect to an existing wifi network and the other will rebroadcast it out as “free wifi”. I will explore two different methods of doing this, but both have the same end result. I will use a Mac for both, but the same thing can be performed on Windows or Linux.

I typically purchase magazines when I travel as they have a great selection at the airport, and I have ample time to read them cover to cover on the plane. Last week I was in transit to New Zealand and splashed out $18 for a copy of this months Harvard Business Review with cover headline “Build a culture of trust and innovation – COLLABORATE”.
